Staff Nurse
1-Duty Station : Nablus Area/ Vacancy No. 036/2012/X
2-Grade & Salary : LDC Contract Band “C” – S1
: 506.00 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
3-Allowances : Dependency Allowances payable and other
benefits (Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor
5-Qualifications:
-Possession of a B.S. in nursing or a diploma in general nursing of at least three years’ duration;
-A license to practice nursing in the country of duty station.
-A minimum of two years of satisfactory working experience as a qualified nurse.
-Experience in the use of computers and an understanding of their use in health applications.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Competencies
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload;
-Adequate computer skills;
-Excellent organizational and communication skills;
-Self-motivated.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-Diploma or certificate in midwifery or public health nursing;
-Working experience in the provision of maternal and child health care.

-Appointment to these posts is subject to probationary period three months duration. Upon satisfactory completion of this period, appointment will be confirmed for nine months.
-Upon satisfactory completion of this period, appointment will be confirmed subject to continuing need for the post.
-With their prior agreement, candidates who are approved as suitable for appointment but are not the selected candidate for this vacancy, will be placed on the Agency’s roster of pre-approved candidates for a period of up to one year, and may be considered for future vacancies in the same position. The Agency maintains the discretion to fill future vacancies for this position from the roster without re-advertising the vacancy.
